Quilotoa Trekking

The Quilotoa Lagoon is located in the province of Cotopaxi, Pujilí canton. It is a unique tourist attraction in South America and considered one of the 15 most beautiful lagoons of volcanic origin in the world.

Itinerary:

Departure from Latacunga at 09:00 am, during the journey by private car we visit:

• The Yambo Lagoon.

• The outstanding gallery of Tigua, in the "Cóndor Huasi" cultural center.

• Viewpoint of the Toachi River canyon.

• Likewise, on the journey from Latacunga to Pujili you can see indigenous crops, herds of sheep, llamas, typical adobe and straw houses and at the same time observe the Cotopaxi volcano.

• Upon arrival at Quilotoa we taste our lunch, and then walk to the shore of the lagoon where you can take a kayak ride or simply enjoy the scenery.

• The ascent can be done on foot or you can rent horses for USD 10.00.
